Kya Crooke 1st Place Girls Long Jump, 2nd Place 300m Hurdles, 3rd Place High Jump and 8th Place 100m - Indiana IHSAA Outdoor State Championships 2023

Kya Crooke, a sophomore at Heritage Christian School, won the girls long jump title with a wind-legal leap of 19-10.75 (6.06m) in the fifth round at the Indiana State Championships at the Robert C. Haugh Track and Field Complex in Bloomington. Crooke also secured second place in the 300-meter hurdles in 42.85 seconds, cleared 5-9 (1.75m) to take third in the high jump final and finished eighth in the 100-meter dash in 12.38, following a wind-legal 11.96 effort in the prelims. Crooke scored 27 points to finish sixth place by herself in the team competition. More videos |
